Government of Epiloges
Citizens
A citizen was any man of the age sixteen or above who was born in Epiloges. Women, slaves, and immigrants of Epiloges were not considered citizens. A citizen had the right to vote and/or take part in their government.
Type of Government
Epiloges was set up as a democracy. A democracy is a type of government where all citizens can have a say in the law and belong in it. This guaranteed the citizens freedom of speech and allowed them to be equal with one another. Only citizens had a say in the law and could take part in the government. Only the citizens could vote who the council members would be without others knowing who the person had voted for to prevent any fights or arguments. Their government was split into three important groups: the assembly, council, and popular courts.
