Social Classes of Epiloges
Population
The population in Epiloges was rather large (around 250,000). It consisted of both men and women, slaves, and immigrants. There were plenty of both rich and poor people living there. Most of these people were men, who were mostly used in the military.
Ranks
There was a wide variety of people in Epiloges. The social classes were based on citizenship, gender, and where you were born. The higher class people were made up of citizens, which was a man born in Epiloges. Middle class people were pretained just to the women of Epiloges who were born there. However, people not born in Epiloges (metics) and slaves were the lower class of Epiloges and were treated poorly. Social classes was a significant part of Epiloges' culture.
